Spectators: 7369 (Terracing: 5528, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conrado Quintal kicked off to start the match. IBIGALAXY FC's Hugo Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Quintal in the 3rd minute of play. When Conrado Quintal fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apuhy's protests and gave Conrado Quintal a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Apuhy got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Quintal. Conrado Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Apuhy booed when IBIGALAXY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Apuhy's Paulinho Pinho got a free kick in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Conrado Quintal put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Porto. Humberto Leal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Dorival Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Ribeiro. Apuhy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 33 played minutes Conrado Quintal could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-1 into the left cross. After 43 minutes IBIGALAXY FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Barros who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Apuhy's Humberto Leal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Trevisan in the 48th minute of play forced Apuhy's goalkeeper Edmílson Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Apuhy's zone, Dorival Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Ribeiro came out of the goal and Dorival Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nilson Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Apuhy getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paulinho Pinho hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Wiliam Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. IBIGALAXY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of IBIGALAXY FC booed when Apuhy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by IBIGALAXY FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Barros was slow to take the kick. During this time Apuhy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Apuhy's Carlos Coelho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Conrado Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apuhy fully deserved thier win.
