The tension between the IBIGALAXY FC and the Freixal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Freixal booed when IBIGALAXY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Percival Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Porto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Edu Furtado put in a rough tackle. Alberto de Lima made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dorival Trevisan sent off a good shot on target. Freixal's Elder Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to IBIGALAXY FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Carlinhos Matorin hit a great ball. Elder Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Porto having to interfere. Freixal's Elder Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Zé Roberto Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freixal and the IBIGALAXY FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Freixal's Zé Roberto Viana got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

In the 54th minute Dorival Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Palmeira in the 56th minute of play. Zé Roberto Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, IBIGALAXY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Palmeira came free, but Hugo Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Freixal got a freekick which was hit by Percival Pimenta. 88 minutes into the match, Freixal's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Matorin came free, but Alberto de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto de Lima having to interfere.
