The Araranguá EC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Araranguá EC's Tomás Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bazooka FC's Carlos Alberto Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Lima in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Araranguá EC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Prata. Cafu de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho de Sousa in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Guerra was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Luís Paulo Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Araranguá EC's Davi Linhares got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Anselmo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo Fantini made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Araranguá EC's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho de Sousa came free, but Cafu de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu de Queiroz having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Luís Paulo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazooka FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses do Valle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cafu de Queiroz. Araranguá EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Paulo Fantini during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Bazooka FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Fantini. 83 minutes into the match, Araranguá EC's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho de Sousa came free, but Cafu de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luís Paulo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Alberto Guerra having to make a save. The Araranguá EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
