The referee ignored Labrea FC's protests and gave Armando Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Labrea FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Armando Baiano hit a great ball. Rony Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luís Fábio Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Marcus Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Leite. Labrea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Labrea FC booed when Real brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilson Queirós made a kick off. Labrea FC's Marcus Fonseca suffered a concussion after 60 minutes and had to leave the field. After 61 played minutes Real brasil got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Azevedo. Doni Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Luís Fábio Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Labrea FC's Erasmo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Queiroz in the 66th minute of play. Doni Ferreira came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luís Fábio Antunes could save by the left post. Nilson Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Leite having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel Rosa's late challenge caught a Real brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Gabriel Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. Reginaldo Lima took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Leite. Erasmo Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 81 minutes of play Labrea FC's Tiago Gabriel Rosa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tiago Gabriel Rosa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Nilson Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Queiroz in the 88th minute of the match. Agostinho Azevedo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Labrea FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real brasil.
