Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fábio Donatello started the match with the kick off. Carlos Alberto Guerra was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Luís Fábio Donatello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Fábio Donatello really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 11 minutes, Tião Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazooka FC and the Marlenopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Tião Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Alberto Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Fábio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Bazooka FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa de Lima. Bazooka FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rafa de Lima scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Alberto Guerra, making the score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Pernambucano. Marlenopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Paulo Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Armandinho de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlenopolis's Zé Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Alberto Guerra. Bazooka FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marlenopolis's Ruy Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Paulo Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Fábio Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlos Alberto Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafa de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa de Lima in the 63rd minute of play forced Bazooka FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Mandrak during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Alberto Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Donatello in the 65th minute of play. Rafa de Lima struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Carlos Alberto Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlenopolis. Armandinho de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Pernambucano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armandinho de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Senna during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Marlenopolis got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Senna. Rafa de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Alberto Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa de Lima in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Bazooka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Guerra came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Marlenopolis's Luís Fábio Donatello. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Carlos Alberto Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Bazooka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Donatello came free, but Carlos Alberto Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
