Zé Roberto Viana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Freixal getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zé Roberto Viana hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Freixal's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Lopez came free, but Alberto de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Elder Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freixal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 99th minute Elder Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Freixal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Polenta FC throughout the match.
