Luís Fábio Antunes was a little too slow when Samuca Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience was convinced that Samuca Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Antunes was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Marcus Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Real brasil fans jumped to their feet. In the 41st minute, Lauro Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fábio Antunes. Real brasil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Luís Fábio Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro Carneiro in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The referee ignored Real brasil's protests and gave Gilmar Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Real brasil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kaue Gomes FC:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Kaue Gomes FC. Ronaldão de Castro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Fábio Antunes. 3-1. 71 minutes into the match, Lauro Carneiro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Real brasil's Luís Fábio Antunes. Luís Fábio Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
