Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Luís Fábio Donatello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Marlenopolis's zone, William das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pernambucano came out of the goal and William das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Teixeira AD got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Moreno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Donatello in the 12th minute of play forced Teixeira AD's goalkeeper Matías de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Luís Fábio Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rafa de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matías de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Donatello in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Luís Fábio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Magalhães hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zé Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Remo Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remo Maranhense to make the kick off. The supporters of Marlenopolis booed when Teixeira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlenopolis's Raphael Favoretto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Teixeira AD. Matías de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fábio Donatello went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Matías de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa de Lima's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Luís Fábio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marlenopolis's Rafa de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Marlenopolis fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Marlenopolis's Luís Fábio Donatello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute Luís Fábio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafa de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías de Carvalho having to interfere. Luís Fábio Donatello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matías de Carvalho having to make a save. Luís Fábio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa de Lima in the 92nd minute of play. Matías de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Donatello in the 94th minute of the match. Paulo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
