Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Custódio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erasmo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Carneiro in the 40th minute of play. Samuca Paranaense succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Samuca Paranaense sped through Labrea FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erasmo Leite. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rony Custódio was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Rony Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Labrea FC's Erasmo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Paranaense in the 94th minute of play. If Lauro Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
