Simão Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Caco Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Ademar Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nilmar Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldir Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldir Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Branco in the 23rd minute of play. Nilmar Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Moura having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Ademar Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JessLeh FC's Waldir Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Simão Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Borges in the 33rd minute of play. Palmeiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Simão Borges scored to the left of an out of position Caco Trancoso, making the score, 1-0. When Rubinho Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the JessLeh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Mendes couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rubinho Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Borges in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frédson Saraiva during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to JessLeh FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Frédson Saraiva hit a great ball. Ademar Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Waldir Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emanuel Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Emanuel Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco Trancoso was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JessLeh FC.
