Spectators: 6494 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doni Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Alfredinho de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Simões in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, SÃO PAULO FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Linhares. After a rather tough play, SÃO PAULO FC's Doni Tepedino got a free kick in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, SÃO PAULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Linhares came free, but Alfredinho de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Juan Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SÃO PAULO FC's Doni Tepedino in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SÃO PAULO FC's Alfredinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco de Amorim in the 40th minute of play. When Juan Simões came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ratz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Simões couldn't finish the play. Horácio Rosa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Joaquim Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SÃO PAULO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséias Quintal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Juan Simões notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SÃO PAULO FC's Alfredinho de Souza. Alfredinho de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Doni Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Simões made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Juan Simões however managed to control. Daniel Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SÃO PAULO FC's Flávio Mendonça managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wiliam de Lima in the 66 minute of the game. Frederico Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Linhares in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76thth minute of the game Antônio Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SÃO PAULO FC's Alfredinho de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flávio Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Daniel Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ratz FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Didi Magalhães hit a great ball. Frederico Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antônio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Ratz FC were the better team. Ratz FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
