After 42 played minutes, Illuminati FC's Wesley da Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Silveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Illuminati FC reached it. In the 43rd minute, Raí Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Charles Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illuminati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Illuminati FC's zone, José Maria Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro de Sousa came out of the goal and José Maria Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raí Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Arósio in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Inter de Marte got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Galvão. Charles Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Charles Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Silveira was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 89th minute of the match, Leonel Barral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro de Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hamílton Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thiago Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Raí Souto made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Silveira. Inter de Marte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Illuminati FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
