After having played for 15 minutes, Dedê Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camargo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedê Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serginho do Vale struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Luiz Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajarauna. Joélson Guerra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Camargo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 27th minute, Jaime Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felipe Baptista, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Luiz Meireles was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Serginho do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guajarauna and the Camargo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guajarauna getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Serginho do Vale hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Joélson Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Camargo FC booed when Guajarauna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Joélson Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Angelo de Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Luiz Meireles. Camargo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erasmo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Neves was the one to do the kick off. Mathias Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Guerra in the 54th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Baptista went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Luiz Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Neves in the 65th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Baptista in the 67th minute. Felipe Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson Guerra went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Guajarauna's zone, Joélson Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Azevedo came out of the goal and Joélson Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guajarauna's Mathias Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Hermes in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Guajarauna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Rafa Rodrigues, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dedê Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
