Celsinho de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim de Godoi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guerreiros Legendarios's Benjamim de Godoi got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 33 minutes of play Piem's Simão Gerber was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mazinho Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Penha got free with Cláudio Sergipano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute of the match, Beto Penha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cláudio Sergipano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celsinho de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Piem's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Almeida came free, but Cláudio Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piem's Cláudio Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim de Godoi in the 83rd minute of play.
