If Celsinho de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Celsinho de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Piem's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Souto came free, but Cláudio Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Charles Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro de Sousa having to interfere. Pedro de Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael da Rocha in the 37th minute. Pedro de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Illuminati FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho de Castro came free, but Pedro de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Arósio might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 48th minute of the match Júnior Trancoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro de Sousa skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Arósio to make the kick off. Charles Arósio succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 59 minutes, Wesley da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illuminati FC and the Piem players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Illuminati FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piem reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raphael da Rocha in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro de Sousa saved Illuminati FC from getting behind. Piem's Raphael da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rdth minute of the game Raphael da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Illuminati FC's Pedro de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Piem's Raphael da Rocha in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Illuminati FC's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Piem were the better team. Piem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
