The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Silveira having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Felipe Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Marte's Thiago Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Luisão Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guajarauna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Marte the free kick. Luisão Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rony Prado hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Angelo de Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Silveira skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Jaime Neves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inter de Marte's Thiago Silveira. Thiago Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Marte's zone, Felipe Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Silveira came out of the goal and Felipe Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony Prado hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Luisão Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José Maria Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Campidelis in the 42nd minute of play. In the 49th minute, Felipe Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guajarauna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Guajarauna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Pedro Luiz Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Inter de Marte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Campidelis couldn't finish the play. José Maria Teles struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mathias Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Marte. Inter de Marte's Thiago Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Marte from getting a goal against them. Thiago Silveira was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Jaime Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Campidelis in the 72nd minute of play forced Guajarauna's goalkeeper Mathias Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game José Maria Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guajarauna's Mathias Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Pedro Luiz Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Marte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luiz Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Neves in the 78th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Guajarauna's Felipe Baptista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Serginho do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Guajarauna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
