Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro de Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Illuminati FC booed when Ratz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Daniel Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Antônio Linhares rounded Illuminati FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Illuminati FC's Pedro de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Illuminati FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Antônio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Juan Simões took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pedro de Sousa to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ratz FC's Antônio Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antônio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratz FC's Oséias Quintal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nilton Oliveira in the 58 minute of the game. Antônio Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Linhares's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 61 minutes into the game, Benjamin Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Illuminati FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ratz FC the free kick. A collision led to Illuminati FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benjamin Costa hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Antônio Linhares sped through Illuminati FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro de Sousa. The Ratz FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Ratz FC's Antônio Linhares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Antônio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Antônio Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Antônio Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro de Sousa was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Pedro de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Linhares in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro de Sousa saved Illuminati FC from getting behind. If Antônio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antônio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro de Sousa having to interfere. Juan Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ratz FC's Marco de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antônio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro de Sousa having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Ratz FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
