Beto Penha took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Moura. Waldir Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Simão Borges hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the JessLeh FC defense, Benjamim de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Moura. The JessLeh FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Moura should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Penha in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Beto Penha sped through JessLeh FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldir Moura. Waldir Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes JessLeh FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Senna who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vânderson Senna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JessLeh FC's Waldir Moura did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Meirelles during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Guerreiros Legendarios. Vânderson Senna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Waldir Moura. 0-5. 41 minutes into the match, JessLeh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Almeida came free, but Waldir Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Benjamim de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamim de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Moura having to interfere. During the 47th minute of the match Rubinho Mendes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rubinho Mendes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 48th minute, Rubinho Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Guerreiros Legendarios were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jerônimo Fantini hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Guerreiros Legendarios's Marcus Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Waldir Moura was a little too slow when Beto Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 68th minute, Benjamim de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Penha in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind JessLeh FC's goalkeeper Waldir Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Augusto Pirani's late challenge caught a Guerreiros Legendarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Augusto Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guerreiros Legendarios booed when JessLeh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Célio Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JessLeh FC and the Guerreiros Legendarios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, JessLeh FC's Célio Lopez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Guerreiros Legendarios's Beto Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubens de Godoi during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Guerreiros Legendarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Beto Penha notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of JessLeh FC's Waldir Moura. Waldir Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Guerreiros Legendarios could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JessLeh FC throughout the match.
