Daniel Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Antônio Linhares in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Waldir Moura, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zé Augusto Pirani hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. JessLeh FC's Waldir Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Linhares in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in JessLeh FC's zone, Wiliam de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Moura came out of the goal and Wiliam de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ratz FC's Juan Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Linhares in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Waldir Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 96 minutes, Juan Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ratz FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
