With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Antônio Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luiz Meireles was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 31st minute of the match Aníbal Alves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. Dedê Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sergipano having to interfere. Juan Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Camargo FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Linhares. Antônio Linharess short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Pedro Luiz Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ratz FC's Antônio Linhares in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camargo FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Juan Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratz FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
