Spectators: 5509 (Terracing: 4400, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válter Abreu started the match with the kick off. Dito Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Abreu in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Moura13 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Celsinho Leão hit a great ball. When Parnaiba FC's Válter Abreu in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moura13's goalie prevented a goal. Raimundo Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chicão Fonseca having to make a save. Ernesto Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Fonseca having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Tomé da Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chicão Fonseca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Manoel Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parnaiba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ernesto Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Moura13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Arruda couldn't finish the play. Chicão Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Raimundo Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moura13's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Arruda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Parnaiba FC's Manoel Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Parnaiba FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Manoel Camargo hit a great ball. Parnaiba FC's Chicão Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Batista in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válter Abreu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Dias saved Moura13 from getting behind. Ernesto Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Válter Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Válter Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 65thth minute of the game Válter Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moura13's Dito Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manoel Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dito Dias having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Ernesto Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Ernesto Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Hernani Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moura13 and the Parnaiba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moura13's Hernani Siqueira got a free kick in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Parnaiba FC's Nico Xavier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Manoel Camargo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dito Dias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moura13's Hernani Siqueira got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Hernani Siqueira off the ground. After 83 played minutes Moura13 got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Siqueira. Ernesto Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
