Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eriberto Cearense got the match started through his kick off. Cupe's Manoel Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Bezerra in the 6th minute of play. In the 18thth minute Cupe's Adriano Lima made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of Coca Na Tulipa's goalie, Roberto Pinheiro, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Roberto Pinheiro. In the 21st match minute, Coca Na Tulipa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Prata to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Figueiredo made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luiz Gustavo da Costa. 27 minutes into the match, Cupe's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Cearense came free, but Manoel Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rubens Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Rubens Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manoel Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cupe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coca Na Tulipa were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Adriano Lima made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Pinheiro. Coca Na Tulipa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Oscar Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Roberto Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cupe. Chiquinho Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Teixeira in the 66th minute of play forced Coca Na Tulipa's goalkeeper Roberto Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Figueiredo got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carlos Alberto Britto. Armando Bittencourt was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Cupe's Armando Bittencourt got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coca Na Tulipa's goalkeeper Roberto Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Chiquinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cupe's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Adriano Lima didn't quite understand what happened when in the 88 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Chiquinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cupe's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Lima fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 94th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Coca Na Tulipa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cupe had controlled the match.
