Zézinho Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Raí Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Paulo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ceramica cac players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tayio Esporte Clube were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Urbano made a kick off. Zézinho Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Raí Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Zézinho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Leal in the 56th minute of the match. Raí Veloso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Zézinho Cerezo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. ceramica cac's Zézinho Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Leal in the 65th minute of play. After 68 played minutes, Tayio Esporte Clube's Hudson Arce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zézinho Cerezo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tayio Esporte Clube reached it. Luís Paulo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zézinho Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ceramica cac's Aníbal Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aníbal Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Tayio Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Urbano came free, but Lucjan Czapski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lucjan Czapski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Zézinho Cerezo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luís Paulo Leal in the 87thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Raí Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Cerezo having to interfere. Luís Paulo Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zézinho Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tayio Esporte Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
