The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Neto got free with Caco Rezende in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caco Rezende made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ernesto Massa sent off a good shot on target. Caco Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Massa in the 27th minute. Luís Fernando Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Fernando Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th minute José Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Vaz in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Freire got free with Delfim Vaz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led to LDC E.C's Edgar Paraibano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Luís Fernando Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Delfim Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LDC E.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edgar Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. LDC E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74thth minute of the game Geovani Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paulina FC's Delfim Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kiko Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Delfim Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Kiko Trancoso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delfim Vaz. Kiko Trancoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Geovani Vaz struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Delfim Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LDC E.C. Ediberto Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Vaz having to interfere. When LDC E.C's Geovani Vaz in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paulina FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Geovani Vaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delfim Vaz. That made the score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. The Paulina FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LDC E.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
