The referee ignored União F.C.'s protests and gave Arnaldo Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, União F.C.'s Arnaldo Fernandez got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Tomás Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauan Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tricolor dos Pampas FC's zone, Kauan Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Vergílio came out of the goal and Kauan Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basílio Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. União F.C.'s Andrézinho Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Madureira in the 62nd minute of play. Wilton Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Andrézinho Velloso made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Basílio Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, União F.C.'s Isaltino de Alcântara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isaltino de Alcântara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of União F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isaltino de Alcântara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, one of União F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for União F.C.. Andrézinho Velloso had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Lauro Castro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wilton Lago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Andrézinho Velloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 80th minute Tomás Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Fernandez fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 83rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lauro Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tricolor dos Pampas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Alberto Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tricolor dos Pampas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Andrézinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tricolor dos Pampas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
