Andrézinho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko Trancoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, LDC E.C's Kiko Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrézinho Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute Kiko Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When LDC E.C's Geovani Vaz in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. LDC E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Kiko Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Velloso. União F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kiko Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Andrézinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrézinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kiko Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrézinho Velloso having to make a save. Geovani Vaz had several of the União F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Andrézinho Velloso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Andrézinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Geovani Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andrézinho Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. União F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Kiko Trancoso scored to the left of an out of position Andrézinho Velloso, making the score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in LDC E.C's zone, Kauan Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Rezende came out of the goal and Kauan Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to LDC E.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luís Fernando Munhoz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in União F.C.'s zone, Kiko Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Velloso came out of the goal and Kiko Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pedro Paulo Torres fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União F.C.'s protests and gave Pedro Paulo Torres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, one of União F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for União F.C.. The referee gave LDC E.C a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Fernando Munhoz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of União F.C.'s Andrézinho Velloso. 0-6. Edgar Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Velloso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, União F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Torres got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Kauan Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. União F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kauan Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
