With a little luck, S.E Palmeiras's Kauã Eger got control of the ball when Kauan Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, União F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Paraense came free, but Andrézinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E Palmeiras's Luís Fábio Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, União F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andrézinho Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When Kauan Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the União F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan Ramalho couldn't finish the play. Luís Fábio Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Andrézinho Velloso made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, S.E Palmeiras's Luís Fábio Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. S.E Palmeiras's Luís Fábio Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
