Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lúcio Alves got the match started through his kick off. When Acarai's Cristiano Castro in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manino's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Aguiar during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Acarai booed when Manino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Arósio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristiano Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acarai's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Arósio came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Acarai's Otávio Travassos. But to his dismay, Otávio Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, Otávio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acarai the free kick. After 23 played minutes Manino got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Macedo. In the 25th minute, Afonsinho Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Arósio having to interfere. Manino's Lúcio Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manino's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Arlindo Machado came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Manino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Machado couldn't finish the play. Manino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arlindo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 80th match minute, Manino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Otávio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Otávio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manino's Lúcio Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexsandro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Machado in the 96th minute of play forced Acarai's goalkeeper Paulinho Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manino were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Acarai to leave the ground with a draw.
