Franklin de Brito came out of the goal and Vânderson Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th match minute, Turbonegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Borges to maneuver through the defense. Fred de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin de Brito having to make a save. Dinei Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicasio Semir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macucu Sport's Nicasio Semir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Lopez in the 27th minute of play. Nicasio Semir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Turbonegro's Franklin de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred de Lara in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Turbonegro got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Borges. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Marinho in the 41st minute of play forced Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Ademar Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Semir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vânderson Jacinto during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicasio Semir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Borges in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute Macucu Sport were awarded a corner. Vânderson Jacinto went to the cornerflag to take it. Dinei Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nicasio Semir made a huge save. Turbonegro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
