After a defensive mix-up in Macucu Sport's zone, Cafu Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Semir came out of the goal and Cafu Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 3rd minute, Reynaldo Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC CORINGÃO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nicasio Semir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Couto in the 9th minute of play. Serginho Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serginho Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Macucu Sport booed when SC CORINGÃO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Jacinto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Reynaldo Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC CORINGÃO's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Semir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Cafu Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Semir. Macucu Sport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Couto in the 19th minute of play forced Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Semir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nuno Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cafu Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Semir was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Cafu Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Cafu Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nicasio Semir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicasio Semir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Cafu Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cafu Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Nicasio Semir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Paulo do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred de Lara in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Couto in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Semir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Macucu Sport booed when SC CORINGÃO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Vinhas in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Semir saved Macucu Sport from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Couto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Vinhas got free with Nicasio Semir in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Emerson Varela from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Nicasio Semir's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Macucu Sport getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Diogo Prestes hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Emerson Varela sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nicasio Semir threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Emerson Varela this time. Nicasio Semir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Vinhas in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Macucu Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Macucu Sport's Nicasio Semir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Macucu Sport from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Macucu Sport's Diogo Prestes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Cafu Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Semir having to interfere. Emerson Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Nicasio Semir didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC CORINGÃO's Cafu Couto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Nicasio Semir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Couto in the 89th minute.
