Spectators: 6643 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 143) FC Xmem's Celso Magalhães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes of play, Macucu Sport's Alfredinho Nascimento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Arne Nyström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicasio Semir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Maranhense in the 15th minute of the match. If Pedrinho Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Celso Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Xmem's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Semir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Xmem's Celso Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred de Lara struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Stig-Arne Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macucu Sport. Diogo Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Nyström having to make a save. Fred de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Arne Nyström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fred de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Diogo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. Stig-Arne Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred de Lara in the 58th minute of play. Diogo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Arne Nyström made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Diogo Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Fred de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oséias Salles fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Xmem's protests and gave Oséias Salles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Xmem getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Oséias Salles hit a great ball. If Fred de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Xmem's zone, Diogo Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Nyström came out of the goal and Diogo Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Nyström having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Macucu Sport left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Xmem.
