Spectators: 6999 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Kurumba F.C's Dráusio Travassos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Macucu Sport. Vânderson Jacinto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rafa Catarinense. 1-0. Vágner Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rafa Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macucu Sport's Fred de Lara came free and shot a quick shot against goal 16 minutes in the game, fortunately Rafa Catarinense had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Nicasio Semir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão França in the 18th minute of the match. Jairo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nicasio Semir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurumba F.C. 32 minutes into the match, Kurumba F.C's goalkeeper Rafa Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred de Lara. Fred de Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Rafa Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Diogo Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafa Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fred de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Catarinense having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilian Maia during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Wilian Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vágner Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Gaspar came free, but Nicasio Semir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Dráusio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Semir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 61 minutes on the clock, Enéas Soares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 60th minute, one of Macucu Sport:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Macucu Sport. Macucu Sport's Nicasio Semir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Macucu Sport from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kurumba F.C booed when Macucu Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nelson Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurumba F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Semir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Macucu Sport's Diogo Prestes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Alfredinho Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Nelson Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Nicasio Semir made a huge save. Dráusio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nicasio Semir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kurumba F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Macucu Sport.
