Macucu Sport's Diogo Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Marinho got free with Nicasio Semir in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Macucu Sport's Nicasio Semir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Lopez in the 25th minute of play. Nicasio Semir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred de Lara in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Marinho. 32 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Borges came free, but Nicasio Semir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Semir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Lopez in the 34th minute of the match. Enéas Soares's late challenge caught a Turbonegro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Macucu Sport:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Turbonegro:s goal. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Turbonegro's Jean Trancoso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nicasio Semir. In the 47th minute Fred de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Fred de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred de Lara in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin de Brito having to interfere. Franklin de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred de Lara in the 63rd minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Toninho Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turbonegro and the Macucu Sport players grew even worse after the yellow card. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Franklin de Brito. 82 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's Vágner Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Turbonegro defense, Fred de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin de Brito. The Turbonegro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin de Brito should have stopped the shot. Dinei Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Semir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Dinei Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Marinho struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nicasio Semir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turbonegro. Franklin de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred de Lara in the 97th minute of the match.
