Alessandro Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Corrêa having to interfere. Cláudio Perez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amauri Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Cláudio Perez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the CRB defense, Abelardo Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Mota. The CRB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Mota should have stopped the shot. Amauri Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Perez in the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Abelardo Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, CRB's Gil Pimenta got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, CRB's Amauri Mota got control of the ball when Abelardo Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line.
