Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Renato Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, CRB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Renato Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Egídio Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Sebastião Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egídio Cerezo. Iraguacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 played minutes CRB got a freekick which was hit by Dito da Silveira. Renato Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, CRB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan de Lima to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos in the 21st minute of play forced Iraguacu's goalkeeper Egídio Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CRB's zone, Germano de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Mota came out of the goal and Germano de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iraguacu's Egídio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan de Lima in the 31st minute of play. Renato Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egídio Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan de Lima went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Iraguacu's Egídio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. Iraguacu's Egídio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play. If Renato Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Renato Amaral notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CRB's Amauri Mota. Amauri Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renato Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Mota having to interfere. If Renato Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iraguacu's Egídio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Iraguacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Egídio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Alves came free in the 96th minute and tried to tip the ball over Amauri Mota, but to the joy of CRB's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The Iraguacu manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CRB to win.
