An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente de Godoi in the 15th minute of play forced Queltes FC.'s goalkeeper Emílio Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente de Godoi in the 17th minute of play. Luiz Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benjamim Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Adalberto Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acude SC's Chicão Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Sampaio in the 23rd minute of play. When Luiz Castro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Queltes FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Luiz Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Castro struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Chicão Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queltes FC.. After 30 minutes of play, Acude SC's Benjamim Moura made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benjamim Moura came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Acude SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Moura couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Queltes FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Souza to maneuver through the defense. Benjamim Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Guerra having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Queltes FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Thomás Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Emílio Guerra, making the score, 1-3. Vicente de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Guerra having to interfere. Jardel Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Benjamim Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomás Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Queltes FC.'s zone, Benjamim Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Guerra came out of the goal and Benjamim Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Castro in the 76th minute of play forced Acude SC's goalkeeper Chicão Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Emílio Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Guimarães in the 81st minute of the match.
