Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Durvalino Proença started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Londrina EC booed when Acude SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Thomás Guimarães made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Londrina EC's Giovanni Prado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Acude SC's Thomás Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Clóvis Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Diniz having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Acude SC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Moura. Giovanni Prado came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Acude SC's Benjamim Moura. But to his dismay, Benjamim Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 28 minutes, Dênis Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Londrina EC and the Acude SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Londrina EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dênis Mendonça hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Londrina EC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Moura came free, but Giovanni Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acude SC's Thomás Guimarães managed to work through Londrina EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Thomás Guimarães dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thomás Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thomás Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamim Moura in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Londrina EC's zone, Juarês Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Prado came out of the goal and Juarês Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Proença in the 44th minute of play forced Acude SC's goalkeeper Chicão Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Mendonça in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benjamim Moura made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Acude SC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Fernandez. Dênis Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Diniz having to interfere. Benjamim Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Giovanni Prado made a huge save. Thomás Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Prado having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Thomás Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acude SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Acude SC's Benjamim Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Durvalino Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Durvalino Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomás Guimarães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovanni Prado. That made the score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. The supporters of Londrina EC booed when Acude SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Acude SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Benjamim Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Thomás Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Thomás Guimarães got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Acude SC's Benjamim Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Acude SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Londrina EC throughout the match.
