Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when 程桑耀 kicked off to start the match. Waldemar Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Lopez in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Lima during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Miranga AD got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Lima. Rubinho Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Peixoto in the 12th minute of play forced Miranga AD's goalkeeper Waldemar Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vágner Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Zuba F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Peixoto couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Vágner Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Peixoto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldemar Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Osmar Falcão struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Waldemar Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuba F. C.. Waldemar Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Falcão in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Zuba F. C. booed when Miranga AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Plesca didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Peixoto in the 34th minute of play forced Miranga AD's goalkeeper Waldemar Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner Peixoto to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Miranga AD defense, Vágner Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Palmeira. The Miranga AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Palmeira should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Luciano Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miranga AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuba F. C. the free kick. Beto Bertassi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Osmar Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Waldemar Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Falcão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Waldemar Palmeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Abelardo Lima was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Zuba F. C.'s Erik Falcão got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Waldemar Palmeira. Vágner Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Palmeira having to make a save. In the 89th play minute Osmar Falcão came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Waldemar Palmeira. 0-8. If Vágner Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Vágner Peixoto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldemar Palmeira. Vágner Peixoto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Zuba F. C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
