Spectators: 6962 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogo Saldanha started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Peixoto in the 5th minute of play forced Mandante's goalkeeper Armando Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Peixoto in the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Osmar Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuba F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osmar Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Armando Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Maranhense went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Osmar Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuba F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Zuba F. C. booed when Mandante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmar Falcão's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Mandante getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Deivid de Souza hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Erik Falcão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Ortiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vágner Peixoto scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th match minute, Zuba F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Armando Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Mandante's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Falcão came free, but Armando Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Osmar Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Ortiz was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. If Vágner Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Armando Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Bertassi in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Erik Falcão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mandante's Armando Ortiz didn't even have to move. Armando Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Peixoto in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mandante's goalkeeper Armando Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vágner Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Zuba F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Peixoto couldn't finish the play. Osmar Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zuba F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
