Eduardo de Sousa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play forced CHARRUA A.C's goalkeeper Gil Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
