Emílio Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Luís Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHARRUA A.C and the Queltes FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Luiz Eduardo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luiz Castro in the 22nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gil Salgado kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 25 minutes into the game, Leandro Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHARRUA A.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queltes FC. the free kick. Leandro Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Queltes FC. were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Sampaio went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd minute, Dráusio Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, one of Queltes FC.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave CHARRUA A.C a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eduardo de Sousa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Queltes FC.'s Emílio Guerra. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Queltes FC.'s zone, Luís Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Guerra came out of the goal and Luís Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Quintal to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Luís Costa from a close distance when the talented Emílio Guerra managed to make a qualified save. Queltes FC.'s players were relieved. Luiz Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Salgado having to interfere. Luís Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Luiz Castro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CHARRUA A.C's Gil Salgado. Gil Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Queltes FC.'s goalkeeper Emílio Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Costa. Luiz Eduardo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Salgado came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Queltes FC.'s Luiz Castro. But to his dismay, Luiz Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Emílio Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Quintal in the 85th minute of play. If Miguel Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Quintal in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to CHARRUA A.C getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Evandro Leão hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Luiz Eduardo Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the CHARRUA A.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Queltes FC..
