Sérgio Sergipano hit a great ball. Edgard do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Teixeira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Maicon Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MacTakCG's protests and gave Maicon Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MacTakCG's Maicon Meireles got a free kick in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ypatinga FC's Wanderson Capixaba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Pedro de Alcântara. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Orlando Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MacTakCG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. José Carlos Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edgard do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ypatinga FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Wanderson Capixaba hit a great ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MacTakCG's goalkeeper Zé Pedro de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Natanael Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ypatinga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MacTakCG the free kick. Natanael Silva hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see MacTakCG's Maicon Meireles in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Orlando Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard do Vale having to interfere. In the 44th minute Orlando Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ypatinga FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeferson Pinheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time MacTakCG's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MacTakCG's corner Jeferson Pinheiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard do Vale quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Wanderson Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, José Carlos Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacTakCG's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Orlando Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MacTakCG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, MacTakCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Meireles to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, José Carlos Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacTakCG's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Orlando Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
