Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Real Parque FC's Dinei de Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Jean Linhares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geraldo de Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacinto Santos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erivaldo Hermes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valério Sousa. ESPARTACUS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, ESPARTACUS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Miranda came free, but Valério Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ESPARTACUS FC's zone, Dinei de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Sousa came out of the goal and Dinei de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dinei de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Miranda in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Real Parque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Tande to maneuver through the defense. ESPARTACUS FC's Jean Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Real Parque FC's Geraldo de Medeiros got control of the ball when Dedé Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes ESPARTACUS FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Dantas. Dinei de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Genílson Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jean Linhares made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, ESPARTACUS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 53 minutes of play, Real Parque FC's Genílson Miranda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jean Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESPARTACUS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dedé Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Fontes's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Duarte Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Parque FC's Geraldo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Linhares in the 87th minute of play. Dinei de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Geraldo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Linhares in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Parque FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
