Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Vaz started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Teotonios FC's Laerte de Lima got control of the ball when José Carlos Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Orlando Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Vladimir Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teotonios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maicon Meireles during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, MacTakCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Meireles to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, José Carlos Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MacTakCG and the Teotonios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laerte de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Vaz in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Orlando Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Pedro de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Teotonios FC's Vladimir Coelho. But to his dismay, Vladimir Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Carlos Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte de Lima having to interfere. Zé Pedro de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Coelho in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Emanuel de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Orlando Vaz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Laerte de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MacTakCG. Laerte de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Vaz in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Tinoco during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Teotonios FC got a freekick which was hit by Remo Tinoco. If José Carlos Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Teotonios FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Breckenfeld came free, but Laerte de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teotonios FC's Laerte de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Vaz in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Teotonios FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gil Araújo hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Jeferson Pinheiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte de Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Orlando Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacTakCG's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laerte de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Vaz's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Emanuel de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of MacTakCG booed when Teotonios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Teotonios FC's Remo Tinoco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, MacTakCG's Orlando Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diogo Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MacTakCG booed when Teotonios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
