Dinei Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Erik Trancoso made a huge save. Duarte Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Capixaba in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, PRxHC's Erik Trancoso got control of the ball when Dinei Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 60thth minute of the game Dinei Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PRxHC's Erik Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Trancoso came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ypatinga FC's Wanderson Capixaba. But to his dismay, Wanderson Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hermínio Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Erik Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Ypatinga FC's Wanderson Capixaba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Ypatinga FC booed when PRxHC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ypatinga FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
