After a rather tough play, Madrugueira FC's Fellipe Rosado got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Dinei de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo José Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Amorim in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Parque FC's zone, João Pedro Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Vinhas having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Genílson Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paulo José Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Amorim in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro Gerber to make the kick off. A collision led to Real Parque FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sílvio Berger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei de Amorim in the 56th minute of play forced Madrugueira FC's goalkeeper Paulo José Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Duarte Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Parque FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Madrugueira FC for a fine match.
