After 24 played minutes Spartacus FC got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Paranaense. Deivid Recife, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jerônimo Neto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Spartacus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Souto to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience was convinced that Enrique Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo Neto was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Koehler to make the kick off. Wilson Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spartacus FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wilson Souto hit a great ball. Felipe Koehler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alan Barral came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Koehler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Enrique Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo Neto was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Romário Passos didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 65th minute. Spartacus FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!
