Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) Enrique Dias made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Tapes AD getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ernesto Valadares hit a great ball. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapes AD's goalkeeper Alan Barral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germano Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tapes AD's zone, Germano Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Barral came out of the goal and Germano Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 minutes of play, Alcatéia FC's Germano Lago made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tapes AD's Alan Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Lago in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Giovani Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alan Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Frédson de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Barral having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Frédson de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Tapes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Lago came free, but Alan Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Barral having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germano Lago in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Barral saved Tapes AD from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Leão in the 44th minute of play forced Tapes AD's goalkeeper Alan Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Germano Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Alcatéia FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitinho Leão to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Frédson de Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alan Barral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aloísio Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alcatéia FC's zone, Enrique Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Enrique Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Sérgio Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcatéia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapes AD the free kick. A collision led to Alcatéia FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sérgio Moreira hit a great ball. Vitinho Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alan Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson de Carvalho in the 66th minute of play. Vitinho Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Barral having to interfere. Vitinho Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. Deivid Recife's late challenge caught a Alcatéia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Recife helped the player get up and apologised. Deivid Recife hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Germano Lago notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tapes AD's Alan Barral. Alan Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vitinho Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Giovani Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcatéia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovani Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alcatéia FC's Rogério de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germano Lagos short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Alan Barral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Giovani Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Barral made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Germano Lago sent off a good shot on target. Alcatéia FC played a much better game than Tapes AD and deserved their victory. The Tapes AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
