Muller EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Uruguai the free kick. A collision led to Muller EC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bernardinho Rezende hit a great ball. Yuri Godoi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Raphael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Uruguai. In the 11th match minute, Muller EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Félix to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Souto in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raphael de Carvalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Deportivo Uruguai's Yan de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Neiva in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Muller EC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Godoi came free, but Raphael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Souto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Deportivo Uruguai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Samuel Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Deportivo Uruguai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Uruguai booed when Muller EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Souto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. Diogo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Carvalho having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gino Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuri Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Rossi got free with Raphael de Carvalho in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Uruguai's Yan de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos de Amorim in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Neiva was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Antônio Carlos de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muller EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Souto in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Carlos de Amorim got free with Yan de Lara in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Diogo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Carvalho having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Ulysses Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Muller EC's zone, Diogo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Diogo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Rossi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Diogo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Carvalho having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Gino Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael de Carvalho. Muller EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Raphael de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Souto went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Deportivo Uruguai were the better team. Deportivo Uruguai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
