The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Gondoleiros Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Cruz came free, but Gilvan Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Jaime Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Teixeira. Many of Gondoleiros Sport Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gondoleiros Sport Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Paripi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
